Slowly Motorola is jumping the 5G bandwagon, and today, the Lenovo backed mobile vendor has launched Moto G 5G in India. As the name suggests, the android smartphone packs 5G network support (which currently has no practical use in India) with the help of Snapdragon 750G SoC. Other highlighted features include big 5000mAh battery and triple rear camera assembly.

Before getting into the detailed specification, let’s have a look at the pricing. Motorola Moto G 5G is priced in India at Rs 20,999. That’s for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. Do note that this price is an introductory price and the actual MRP of the phone is Rs 24,999. The phone is available exclusively through Flipkart.

The Moto G 5G flaunts a 6.7-inch full HD+ (2400×1080) Max Vision LTPS display that supports HDR10 and has a hole-punch for the front-facing camera. The phone body is made out of plastic, yet it got an IP52 water protection rating.

Under the hood, the Moto G 5G packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone runs on almost stock Android 10 operating system.

Coming to the camera, the Moto G 5G packs a triple rear camera setup. These include a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 118-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro vision camera. You also get a single LED flash accompanying the rear camera units. In the front for selfies, the phone packs a 16MP camera features f/2.2 aperture. The camera app comes with all the gimmicks including Slow motion, Timelapse video, Hyperlapse video, Electronic Image Stabilization, Spot colour for video and more.

Connectivity option in Moto G 5G includes 5G, 4G LTE (with VoLTE and VoWiFi), 3G and 2G network support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz+ 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC. It even got a 3.5mm headset jack for old trusted wired headphones. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery which comes with 20W TurboPower charging that gives you 10 hours of power in just 15 minutes.
