Vodafone India extends 4G VoLTE services to Rajasthan, Maharashtra & Goa

One of India’s leading telecom operator Vodafone India has expanded its 4G VoLTE (Voice over LTE) services in Rajasthan and Maharashtra & Goa telecom circles. Now at no additional cost, you could enjoy HD quality voice calls with faster call set up time.

In Rajasthan telecom circle, Vodafone 4G VoLTE will be available in cities like Jaipur and Jodhpur. Whereas, in Maharashtra & Goa telecom circles, the VoLTE services will be available in cities like Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Vasai and Goa. The telecom operator also confirmed that major cities will recieve 4G VoLTE services in the coming month.

If you own a popular 4G mobile devices with a Vodafone 4G SIM, then you’re already upgraded to Vodafone VoLTE service. You could make voice calls at HD quality, with crystal clear sound. In addition, call setup time has been considerably reduced. The best part, you can be always online and use internet with uninterrupted high-speed 4G even during voice calls.

Vodafone India’s SuperNet 4G customers can avail the VoLTE services at no additional charges. You only need a compatible 4G device and a Vodafone 4G connection with relevant prepaid or postpaid plan. Also, all calls made through VoLTE will be billed as per you’re existing plans or pack benefits.

How to activate Vodafone VoLTE
  • First, you need to have a compatible device that also supports Vodafone VoLTE services. Most of the popular 4G smartphones launched in India support Vodafone VoLTE. This includes OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 3/3T, Samsung C9 Pro, Samsung J7 Nxt, Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, Nokia 5, Nokia 8, Honor View 10, Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Honor 8 Pro. You can check here if you’re device supports Vodafone VoLTE.
  • Get/upgrade to a Vodafone 4G SIM. If you’re using a dual-SIM mobile then ensure Vodafone 4G SIM has been inserted in the data SIM slot. Also, the network mode has to be set as 4G/3G/2G (Auto).
  • Once that done, if you’re in Vodafone VoLTE coverage area then a VoLTE symbol will appear along with the signal bar. You can then use Vodafone VoLTE to make HD voice calls.

During the first phase roll-out, the telecom operator plans to cover Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Gujarat telecom circles. In the coming months, the telco will expand its VoLTE service to Karnataka and Kolkata telecom circles.
