Vodafone 4G VoLTE now live in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Gujarat

Mobile subscribers of one of India’s leading telecom operator Vodafone India, who from Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Gujarat are going to enjoy HD quality voice calling and instant call connect, as the telco launched its 4G VoLTE (Voice over LTE) service in these telecom circles.

If you own a popular 4G mobile devices with a Vodafone 4G SIM, then you are already upgraded to Vodafone VoLTE service. You will be able to make calls at HD voice quality, that’s also crystal clear. In addition, the call setup time has been considerably reduced to a few milliseconds. The best part, you can be always online and use internet with uninterrupted high-speed 4G data even during voice calls.

Vodafone India’s SuperNet 4G customers can avail the Vodafone VoLTE service for no additional charges. You only need a compatible 4G device and a Vodafone 4G connection with relevant prepaid or postpaid plan. Also, all calls you make via VoLTE will be billed as per your existing plan or pack benefits.

How to activate Vodafone VoLTE
  • First, to access Vodafone VoLTE services you need a compatible Vodafone VoLTE supported devices. Most of the popular 4G smartphones launched in India support Vodafone VoLTE. This includes OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 3/3T, Samsung C9 Pro, Samsung J7 Nxt, Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, Nokia 5, Nokia 8, Honor View 10, Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Honor 8 Pro. You can check here if you’re device supports Vodafone VoLTE.
  • Get/upgrade to a Vodafone 4G SIM. If you’re using a dual-SIM mobile then ensure Vodafone 4G SIM has been inserted in the data SIM slot/s. Also, the network mode has to be set as 4G/3G/2G (Auto).
  • Once that done, if you’re location has Vodafone VoLTE coverage then a VoLTE symbol will appear along with the signal bar. You can then use Vodafone VoLTE to make HD voice calls.

The launch of Vodafone VoLTE in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Gujarat is part of the telcos first phase roll-out. In the coming months, the telco will expand its VoLTE service to Karnataka and Kolkata telecom circles.
