Do you want a bigger screen for your Windows Phone then hold your hands for the Nokia’s 6 inch phablet. The Finnish company has officially launched the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet in India featuring a 6 inch full HD display, 20 megapixel PureView camera, 2.2 Ghz Quad core snapdragon processor and runs on latest Windows Phone 8 OS.
Nokia Lumia 1520 which was first unveiled at the Nokia World 2013 event in Abu Dhabi earlier this year features a gorgeous 6-inch 1080p ClearBack Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that too offers great readability in sunlight. The screen is protected through Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and offers Nokia Glance screen along with better wide viewing angle.
The phablet is powered by 2.2 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM. One of the major highlighted feature is the 20 megapixel PureView camera that has ZEISS optics with Dual LED flash, optical image stabilization (OIS) and all paired with Nokia Camera app. On the front it also got a 1.2 megapixel wide-angle camera that too supports HD video recording.
The device comes with a 32 GB internal storage but can be expanded up to 64GB using MicroSD cards. In addition users will also get 7 GB free cloud storage from Skydrive. On the connectivity front Lumia 1520 supports GSM (2G) and WCDMA (3G/HSUPA/HSDPA) networks in India. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and NFC. On the software front it runs on latest Windows Phone 8 mobile OS with Lumia Black update and carries the usual Nokia’s exclusive app collection.
