BSNL, the state-run telecom service provider and pan-India 3G Mobile service provider have announced the launch of special benefits to customers port-in for its 2G and 3G mobile service in both prepaid and postpaid services under mobile number portability (MNP). BSNL has also waved off the port-in charges of Rs 19 for its 2G and 3G mobile services and also 5GB of GPRS/Data usage is free of cost for first one month.
MNP Tariff Offer for Prepaid customers (2G & 3G)
- Port-in charges waved off.
- (32K) SIM Card will be given free of cost for both 2G & 3G.
- USIM card will be charged as per selling price.
- Additional talk value of Rs.100/- This talk value is only for voice calls within TN LSA both off-net & on-net – which is to be consumed within 30 days of port-in activation and will be provided in addition to normal free talk value associated with FRC
- All the current 7 plans in 2G (saral – 3 plan, General – 3 plan & Pyarijodi Plan) and 3G General 120 plan FRCs are eligible for port-in customers.
- 5GB GPRS will be free of charge for one month. Free GPRS/DATA usage associated with FRC shall not be offered.
MNP Tariff Offer for Postpaid customers (2G & 3G)
- Port-in charges waved off.
- (32K) SIM Card will be given free of cost for both 2G & 3G.
- 3G SIM Card will be charged as per selling price.
- 50% rebate to the customer in the FMC of first month after port-in.
- 5GB GPRS will be free of charge for one month. Free GPRS/DATA usage associated with FMC shall not be available for a month.
- Other freebies attached with the plan will remain same.
- Wherever, the data usage offered with existing plan(s) is more than the data usage offered as above, the higher data usage already offered will prevail
