Just in time for colorful Diwali celebration, Apple is slated to unveil the next-gen smartphone iPhone 5s and 5c in India on November 1st 2013. India’s top telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communication has already confirmed and started taking pre-order of the latest iOS devices starting from November 1st.

iPhone’s as usual will dig hard on your pockets with next-gen iPhone 5s being priced at Rs 53,500 and the less costly iPhone 5c being priced at Rs 41,900. Still not convinced with the pricing, then Apple has also lowered the price of older iPhone 4s from earlier Rs 38,000 to now much affordable Rs 31,500. Currently Apple’s iPhone retails in India at a price tag of Rs 45,000 for the 16GB version and Rs 59,000 for the 64GB version.

Just previous month only Apple unveiled its iPhone 5c and the next generation iPhone 5s along with the completely overhauled iOS 7 mobile operating system. iPhone 5c features an all-new design crafted from a single, hard-coated polycarbonate body with a steel reinforced frame. It spots a 4-inch Retina display and packs an Apple-designed A6 chip that provides proven performance and greater power efficiency along with better battery life. It also got an 8 megapixel iSight camera along with a new FaceTime HD camera. It comes with support for 13 LTE wireless bands, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth 4.0. iPhone 5c runs on the latest completely overhauled iOS 7 that has a new user interface, completely redesigned with an elegant color palette, distinct, functional layers and subtle motion.

On the other hand iPhone 5s featuring an all new Apple designed A7 chip that brings 64-bit desktop-class architecture to a smartphone for the first time providing twice the CPU and graphics performance from the previous iPhone. Another highlighting feature is the Touch ID, an innovative simple and secure way to unlock iPhone using the finger print technology. It features a 4-inch Retina display and glass inlays. It has an precision-crafted design which includes an anodized aluminum body with diamond cut chamfered edges. It got a new 8 megapixel iSight camera featuring a larger f/2.2 aperture and a larger sensor with 1.5x pixels providing better  low-light performance. It supports up to 13 LTE wireless band, includes dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth 4.0.
