Just a day after Spice unveiled the first Firefox smartphone in India – Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1, another popular Indian mobile vendor Intex has launched its first Firefox Smartphone – the Intex Cloud FX with much cheaper price tag of just Rs 1,999 and available exclusively at Snapdeal. This super affordable smartphone is intended for the first-time smartphone users who can now move from their old feature phones to advanced smartphones without shelling out too much money.
The main attraction of Intex Cloud FX smartphone is the Mozilla’s Firefox operating system which offers an ecosystem equipped with the latest web apps which helps enhance the overall smartphone experience.
Intex Cloud FX features a 3.5 inch Capacitive HVGA display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. The device is powered by 1 GHz processor coupled with 128MB RAM, that’s almost enough for Firefox OS to deliver smooth multitasking. It got 256 MB of internal storage that can be expanded up to a mere 4GB using microSD cards. The smartphone also got a 2 mega pixel rear camera. On the connectivity side the device has dual-SIM capability with 2G network support along with WiFi and Bluetooth.
