Along with the official launch of Pixel 4a, Google has also teased (probably to control the leaks) its upcoming android smartphones, the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. Yes, Google wants us to know what to expect in a few months down the line.

Google officially teases Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G

Google has officially revealed the names of their next Pixel smartphones, of course, the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. As you can guess from the name (one is the top-notch premium smartphone and other the affordable sibling), both will come with 5G support. As always, it would carry the incredible Google Camera and tons of Pixel experiences.

However, when considering the leaks, you may expect the Pixel 4a to come with a slightly bigger screen and the secondary telephoto camera from the original Pixel 4. It could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform that offers 5G connectivity chip. Other specifications probably will be kept intact from the Pixel 4a. You, mostly going to get the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, Titan M security module for on-device security and hopefully a much bigger battery (to handle the 5G). Pricing for Google Pixel 4a would start at $499, or roughly around Rs 37,550.

Coming to Pixel 5, there aren’t any official spec offered other than it supporting 5G networks and availability in the coming months. Going by the leaks, the phone may have the same Snapdragon 765G chip inside. This time around Google may ditch the Soli Radar tech, thus rising the possibility of also launching in India.

Initial available of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will be in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia. As 5G has not yet materialised in India, we probably wouldn’t expect this smartphone to launch in India soon.
