Google Owned Motorola Mobility has officially shut down its Indian Website (www.motorola.com/in) and now visitors to the website are greeted with a message announcing the same. Google Owned Motorola Mobility Shuts down Official India Website

The official message now says ” We are streamlining our business and support systems, and unfortunately, we’ll no longer have a dedicated website for India.

Your local support site will remain open well into the future, and we’ll continue to provide support for our existing products.

If you are interested in viewing our current products, you can still do so here.

By this announcement Motorola is one step forward in shutting down all its mobile business in India and now only provide after-sales support to existing products in Indian market. On August 15, Google Inc. agreed to acquire Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. for about $12.5 billion, a move that would make Google more competitive in the mobile-computing market and super charging Android eco-system.
