Working from home, and still on a BSNL mobile network? You need to consider this new data STVs from the state-run telecom operator. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched two new work from home or WFH data STVs for its prepaid mobile subscribers. The new WFH data STVs are priced at Rs 151 and Rs 251, and they offer up to 70GB of additional free data on your any existing mobile plan.
Currently, the new Rs 151 and Rs 251 WFH data STVs are launched in Chennai (including Tamil Nadu) telecom circle. But, it would be available pan-India, to all BSNL prepaid mobile subscribers in the coming days.
BSNL WFH data STVs – Rs 151 and Rs 251
Getting into the details of new BSNL WFH data STVs, the Rs 151 WFH data STV comes with 40GB of high-speed data and has a validity of 30 days. You can activate the data STV instantly from your core mobile balance by texting STV DATA151 to 123.
If you are in a need for more data, then the Rs 251 WFH data STV would offer 70GB of high-speed data with the same validity of 30 days. To activate this data STV, you need to SMS STV DATA251 to 123.

Earlier, BSNL has launched STV 599 Work from Home (WFH) plan for its prepaid mobile subscribers. This STV offers 5GB data per day at high-speed along with unlimited voice and SMS benefits.
If you are looking for a wired high-speed fibre connection, then BSNL has also launched the free Work@Home Broadband Plan with up to 10Mbps speed.
New FRC108 with 60 days validity
In addition to the WFH data STVs, BSNL has also reintroduced the popular first recharge coupon FRC108 on a promotional basis for new prepaid mobile subscribers. Under this recharge you would get unlimited voice calling (including in Mumbai and Delhi) with 250 minutes daily FUP, 1GB per day unlimited data (post FUP speed reduced to 80Kbps) and 500 SMS.
This new first recharge coupon comes with a revised validity of 60 days from the earlier 28 days. So, you could get all the above-unlimited voice and data benefits for 60 days.
This promotion plan is valid for recharge for 90 days, starting 23rd July.
