Well to match up with the Reliance Jio’s ultra low-cost data services and free voice calling offer, incumbent operators need to come up with better plans. India’s largest telecom operator Airtel has come forward to tackle this situation with its own unlimited free voice calling packs. The operator has launched two new combo packs for pan-India prepaid subscribers.
Airtel’s new combo packs offer unlimited free voice calling to anywhere in India along with bundled 4G data benefits. The bundled combo packs are priced Rs 145 and Rs 345 respectively. Do note that both combo packs are best suitable for Airtel 4G mobile subscribers using a 4G smartphone.
Coming to the pack benefits, the Rs 145 pack offers unlimited free local and STD Airtel-to-Airtel voice calls. Along with these, you will also get 300MB of bundled 4G data benefits. If you are using a feature phone (non-4G mobile phone) then you will get an additional 50MB of 3G/2G data benefit. The whole packs have a validity of 28 days.
The second combo pack of Rs 345 offers unlimited free local and STD voice calls to any network in India. In addition, you will also get 1GB of 4G data benefits with the pack. If you are using a feature phone then you will get an additional 50MB of 3G/2G data benefit. These packs also come with a validity of 28 days.

You can recharge for the above packs via airtel website, My Airtel app or through any third party mobile recharge stores. Do note that the above packs won’t work while you are on roaming. You will be charged the usual roaming rates for all voice calls while you are on roaming.
