In a double launch spree, India’s second largest telecom operator Vodafone India has rolled out its SuperNet 4G LTE services in Goa and Chennai telecom circle. Built on the efficient 2100 MHz band, state-of-the-art network and strong fiber backhaul Vodafone’s 4G service offers consistent high-speed internet access on mobile devices and a range of 4G dongles.

In Chennai, Vodafone 4G was launched in the presence of Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand former World Chess Champion. The operator already launched its 4G services in Tamil Nadu telecom circle, mainly in Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Madurai, Tuticorin, Trichy, Hosur, Salem, Erode, Puducherry and Vellore cities. In Tamil Nadu, Vodafone offers all three network services 4G, 3G and 2G on its own convergent radio technology. Coming to Goa, Vodafone’s 4G service was launched in the presence of Shri Laxmikant Parsekar, honourable Chief Minister of Goa and Ashish Chandra Business Head–Maharashtra & Goa Circle, Vodafone India.

Vodafone 4G launch in Goa and Chennai follows the successful rollout of 4G services in thirteen other telecom circles. This includes Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Assam & North East circles. The operator plans to roll out its 4G services in Punjab, and UP West by mid-2017. By March 2017 the operator expects to cover over 2400 towns across its 17 telecom circles.
