The gorgeous Full View display seems to be now the trend among smartphones. Following this trend, Chinese mobile vendor Vivo has launched V7+ (V7 Plus) in India. The main highlight? the 18:9 Full View display along with Snapdragon SoC, Android Nougat OS, 24-megapixel selfie camera and 4G with VoLTE support.

The Vivo V7 Plus gets a price tag of Rs 21,990. The mobile will be available on both Amazon India and Flipkart. Pre-orders for the mobile will start today (7th September 2017) until 15th September 2017 and the first sale will happen on 15th September 2017.

Full View Display and Performance

The highlighted feature of Vivo V7 Plus is the 18:9 Full View Display. You may have already seen the display in action from some of the other mobile vendors especially LG with its LG V30, LG G6 and LG Q6 smartphones and Micromax Canvas Infinity. Similarly, Vivo V7 Plus gets a gorgeous 5.99-inch IPS full view display 1440 x 720 display that has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4 percent and just 2.15mm narrow bezels. The screen is protected from scratches by a cover of Corning Gorilla Glass. Talking about design, the mobile got a premium metal unibody curved design with a trendy U type lining on the back. For colour choices, you get to choose from Matte Black and Champagne Gold colours.

Vivo V7 Plus launched in India - 24MP Selfie Camera, Full View Display, 4G VoLTE

Powering the Vivo V7 Plus is a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The mobile runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Funtouch 3.2 skin over the top. To store your selfies and other media content, the mobile carries 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB using microSD card which gets its own dedicated card slot.

Camera and Connectivity

Vivo is known for its selfie centric cameras, keeping that promise the Vivo V7 Plus sports a 24-megapixel front selfie moonlight camera. For brighter selfies, the mobile equipped with front moonlight glow. The updated Face Beauty 7.0 offers natural face enhancement to both selfies and while video calling. The Portrait Mode offers a sharper contrast and a blurred background when taking selfies. With the sharper camera in the front, it also adds as safety feature called “Face Access”. Using this, you can unlock the phone with facial recognition.

You also get a 16-megapixel primary back camera on Vivo V7 Plus. It features 64MP Ultra HD functionality which merges four frames into one highly detailed image. It also features f/2.0 aperture, PDAF technology, LED flash support and optimised algorithms to shoot clearer, brighter and more detailed photos. For camera tricks, the mobile packs Live Photo feature, where it creates a moving image of your captured photo.

Vivo V7 Plus selfie camera features

Coming to connectivity, Vivo V7 Plus support 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. The mobile also supports 4G VoLTE allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth. The device also includes a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the device.

For audiophiles out there, the Vivo V7 Plus comes with a fully upgraded AK4376A Hifi audio chip offering rich and complex rhythms. Finally, fueling the device is a 3225mAH non-removable lithium-ion battery.
