As you may have guessed, its a compact Android TV box, just like the Amazon Fire TV Stick or even the Google Chromecast. First, to the pricing part, the Mi TV Stick will retail for Rs 2,799 in India. It ‘s available exclusively through Flipkart, Mi online store and Mi Home stores. The very first sale for the device is scheduled on August 7th at 12 pm/noon.

Do note that Xiaomi has another very similar device in its portfolio, the Mi Box 4K. As the name tells it can support 4K stream and packs much powerful internals.

Mi TV Stick runs on Android TV 9 and has access to the Google Play store. This, in turn, let you have access to over 5000 apps available on the platform. The Mi TV Stick comes with a Google voice assistant supported Remote control. It also has dedicated buttons to quick start Netflix and Prime videos.
