Getting the people equipped with more and more 4G enabled smartphones and mainly VoLTE supported ones seems to be the aim of Reliance before its upcoming Jio 4G network launch.
Reliance’s own LYF brand has launched yet another mid-range android smartphone under its Water series – LYF Water 5. Offering 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and most importantly 4G LTE with VoLTE support.
LYF Water 5 smartphone is priced at Rs 11,699 and available exclusively at Amazon India instead of its own Reliance Digital online store.
Design wise LYF Water 5 got a uni-body design and a glass finish at back, along with a metallic frame with chambered stylish edges. The mobile got a 7.7 mm thin profile and weighs just 136g on hand.
Going through the specification, LYF Water 5 flaunts a 5 inch IPS LCD HD display with Dragontrail glass protection. Under the hood, the mobile is equipped with 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.
On the photography front, LYF Water 5 got a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for the selfies. The smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage and strangely with no expandable memory option.
On the connectivity side, the dual SIM mobile got support for 4G LTE with all band support and specially VoLTE support along with 3G and 2G network support. It also got WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
Earlier LYF has launched the LYF Water 1 and LYF Water 2 mobiles under the Water range of android smartphones which comes with a small bump in the hardware specification that LYF Water 5.
