The pre-booking of JioPhone has already started in both online and offline modes. The online booking feature which went live on 24th August 2017 at 5:30 was a real mess. Jio website crashed several times and MyJio app was unstable during the initial booking hours. Due to this people faced several issues like payment failure, no confirmation and are now clueless about the booking. Let’s see how to check your JioPhone booking status, confirmation and delivery.
The offline booking can be done at Jio retailers and nearest Reliance Digital Store. You can also book online via My Jio app or Jio Website. Each pre-book will cost you Rs 500 and the remaining amount of Rs 1000 needs to be paid at the time of delivery.
So now that you’ve booked the JioPhone online or offline, let’s deal with the rest. If your payment was successful, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS. Sometimes you may not receive the confirmation SMS, but no need to worry. In case of payment failures, Jio may either allot you a booking or refund.
If you’ve received the confirmation SMS . The bookings done online can be tracked from MyJio app or by calling Jio support. Existing Jio customers, who have booked using MyJio app, can view their status in the app under Manage Voucher section. You can track the offline booking at respective stores or by calling the Jio support.
If you’ve not received the confirmation SMS. You need to contact Jio customer care and provide the booking details.
For payment failures you can contact Jio customer care and demand a refund along with the details. For multiple payment failures, you may request Jio support to confirm one order and cancel the rest. In any case, there is nothing to worry about and your money is safe. All refunds will be processed within one week to the respective payment sources.
In order to avoid such issues, we recommend you to visit the nearest offline store for pre-booking. Also, for every online booking, taking a screenshot or a snap might help you with refunds or other claims. Hope you enjoyed the article, Peace!
