Fancying about the Apple’s dual camera setup on iPhone 7 Plus or in the Huawei P9 smartphone? Coolpad has brought all those cool camera bokeh effects and DSLR-like quality in a very affordable price tag.
Coolpad has launched Coolpad Cool 1 in India, which is part of the cool series, which in-turn developed by Chinese mobile vendors Coolpad and LeECo. On a quick glance, the mobile features 13MP+13MP dual rear camera, Snapdragon processor, mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner, full HD display and 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE support.
Interested in buying the smartphone? the Coolpad Cool 1 android smartphone will be available in two variants. One variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage is priced at Rs 13,999 and will only available through offline mobile retail stores. The second variant, which is also more powerful with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage comes with a price tag of Rs 14,999. This variant will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting from 5th January 2017.
Coolpad Cool 1 specification and features
Let dig into the specification of the mobile which makes it cool enough. The Coolpad Cool 1 got a premium finish with a metal unibody design. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS in-cell display that almost bezel-less on the sides. The mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB/3GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. To store all your media contents the mobile packs 32GB onboard storage. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card option to expand the memory.
Now to the main highlighted feature of Coolpad Cool 1, the dual 13-megapixel camera. It features f/ 2.0 aperture, Phase-Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and dual-tone LED flash support. One camera sensor is used to capture RGB colors, whereas the second camera sensor captures the monochrome images. This allows you to capture those vibrant colorful photos along with DSLR-like bokeh effects. The back camera can also shoot 4K videos and 720p slow motion videos. On the front for selfie lovers, the mobile got an 8-megapixel camera with built-in beautification mode.
Coming to connectivity option the dual SIM Coolpad Cool 1 comes with 4G LTE capability that supports all Indian 4G bands. The mobile also supports VoLTE that allows you to make HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C. The mobile also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back, which can unlock the mobile in 0.15 seconds, as well as act as a quick capture button to take photos.
