Yes, we have the all-new iPhones from Apple. During the virtual launch event the company has unveiled not one or two, but four new iPhones in the iPhone 12 series. These include the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

While, the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is the successor to the last year’s iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Major attributes that differentiate these four iPhones are its screen size and camera array. Other than that, the new iPhone 12 lineup comes with the same internals. These include Apple’s latest A14 Bionic chip, 5G support and runs on latest iOS 14.

With India now in the priority list and recent Apple Store online launch, the company is really quick in bringing the latest iPhone 12 series to India. The company has already put up the pricing and availability of the new iPhones in India.

The iPhone 12 mini price in India starts at Rs 69,900 which is for the 64GB storage model. You can get the 128GB and 256GB of the model at Rs 74,900 and Rs 84,900 respectively. The iPhone 12 price in India starts at Rs 79,900 which is for the 64GB base model. You can buy the 128GB and 256GB of the phone at a price tag of Rs 84,900 and Rs 94,900 respectively. These two iPhone 12 models will be available in blue, green, black, white, and (PRODUCT)RED colour options.

The iPhone 12 Pro will have a price tag starting at Rs 119,900 for the base 128GB model in India. For the 256GB and 512GB models, you need to shell out Rs 129,900 and Rs 149,900 respectively. Finally, the top-of-the-line iPhone 12 Pro Max price in India starts at Rs 129,900 for the base 128GB model. It’s also available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants with a price tag of Rs 139,900 and Rs 159,900 respectively. These two iPhone 12 Pro models will be available in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue colour options.

When you can buy the iPhone 12 in India? The newest iPhone 12 series will be available in India beginning Friday, October 30. It will be available for purchase directly through Apple Store online India, Flipkart, Amazon India and a dozen of Apple Authorised Resellers.

Introducing the iPhone 12 series

The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 features flat-edge design with an aluminium finish, whereas the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max come with a stainless steel finish. They are IP68 rated to withstand water submersion up to 6 meters for up to 30 minutes and are protected against everyday spills.

Every iPhone 12 series phones flaunt Super Retina XDR OLED displays with Ceramic Shield front cover making the front glass extremely durable. These screens can offer immersive HDR viewing experience for high-definition video and can reach a peak brightness of 1200 nits. With machine learning on the background, the Smart HDR 3 can intelligently adjust the white balance, contrast, texture, and saturation of a photo.

Coming to the real beast in the room, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max boasts 12-megapixel triple camera array at the rear. It includes a seven-element lens Wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture, Ultra-Wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 52 mm focal length Telephoto camera (65 mm focal length for iPhone 12 Pro Max) with an optical zoom range to 4x (5x optical zoom for iPhone 12 Pro Max).

Apple is also rolling out the new Apple ProRAW format with iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max which combines the company’s multi-frame image processing and computational photography with the versatility of a RAW format. Professional photographers can use this to get full creative control over colour, detail, and dynamic range natively on iPhone or with other photo editing apps.

Apple iPhone 12 series are dual SIM capable, with one Nano and one eSIM option. They all have 5G network support, and the US variant of the phone will have the faster mmWave 5G network support.
