In its aim to become the widest 4G network provider in India and to match the massive coverage of Reliance Jio, India’s top telecom operator Airtel has expanded its super high-speed 4G services to new areas.
Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Uttar Pradesh telecom circle, which include UP (East) and UP (West). The 4G service has been rolled out in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra, Aligarh, Bulandshahar, Hapur, Mathura, Modinagar, Meerut, and Muzzafarnagar towns. The operator plans to further expand its 4G network to more than 200 towns in coming month.
Talking about the technology used, Airtel has deployed 4G LTE network using its spectrum band of 1800 MHz (FD-LTE). This offers faster downloading speed and better browsing experience.
As a launch offer, Airtel is offering 10GB of high-speed 4G data benefits at Rs 249 for prepaid customers. Under this offer, when you recharge with the above plan, your account will be instantly credited with 1GB of 4G data benefits. The rest of the promotional 9 GB of 4G data benefits can be claimed through MyAirtel app.
One can recharge for the promotional 4G data plan three times within 90 days period. So you will get 30GB of high-speed 4G data benefits for three months at Rs 747. Do note that the above promotional offer valid only for first time Airtel 4G users or if you have purchased a new 4G smartphone.
For Postpaid customers, Airtel is offering ‘myPLAN infinity plans‘ starting at Rs 1199. Under this plan, subscribers will get free voice callings along with bundled 4G data benefits at a reduced rate.

If you are looking for more discount on 4G data plans, Airtel has introduced 4G data cutter packs, which essentially cut down your 4G or 3G data cost by around 70 percent. In addition, the company has come up with Rs 1495 mobile data pack, that offers unlimited 4G/3G data benefits for a period of 90 days.
