Adding to the tally of cheapest 4G LTE smartphones in India, the Reliance Retail’s subsidiary company and Indian mobile vendor LYF has launched yet another android 4G smartphone under it’s FLAME series – LYF Flame 4.
Priced at Rs 3,999 the LYF Flame 4 is one of the cheapest and most affordable 4G smartphone with VoLTE support currently available in India along with its recently launched LYF Flame 3. Coming to the specification, as the price is low so the hardware packed in it. LYF Flame 4 flaunts a 4-inch WVGA display with a pixel density of 225ppi and protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass.
The LYF Flame 4 is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM and comes with Mali 400 MP2@500MHz GPU. The smartphone carries 8GB internal storage capacity that can be easily expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
On the back, the smartphone got a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash support and on the front a 0.3-megapixel VGA camera. For connectivity, the dual SIM LYF Flame 4 got 4G LTE with VoLTE that supports all Indian 4G bands along with 3G and 2G networks. In addition, the mobile supports Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and micro-USB.
The LYF Flame 4 runs on an older Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, but packs support for ten different Indian languages.

According to a research report within four months of operation, LYF branded smartphones have become the fifth largest smartphone vendor in India. The company has launched smartphones under high-end LYF Earth series, LYF Water 1, LYF Water 2 and LYF Water 5 smartphones under the Water series and budget-friendly smartphones under LYF Flame and LYF Wind series 4G smartphones which include LYF Flame 2 and LYF Wind 4.
