Delivery of Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P purchased during the Mi Crowdsourcing has been delayed until December 1. The product was originally scheduled to be shipped from September 15, but it seems now got delayed by over two months.

Xiaomi is contacting customers via e-mail and call who pre-booked the device through the Mi Crowdfunding platform to inform about the delay in shipment. According to the email shared, the product will now be shipped to all customers by 1st December 2020.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be a delay in the shipment of Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P,” asper the email.

Cleaning your home is a big task and if your maid is a little bit lazy then you need more helping hands. Get yourself a robot to clean things up. We’re not kidding, Xiaomi has launched its robotic vacuum cleaner in India – the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P. It supports both sweeping and mopping function, comes with Laser Detect System (LDS) navigation and you can even operate remotely through the Mi Home app.

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P seems to be a variant of the original Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner model launched in the Chinese market last year. However, the company is customising a large number of its functionalities for India specific usage.

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P is currently available on Mi crowdfunding platform with a special discount of Rs 7000. You could support the crowdfunding and book the product now for Rs 17,999. There is also no-cost EMI option available with monthly instalments starting at Rs 2,999. Do note that the product will ship and delivered to you on August – September 2020.

Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P Functionalities

As we said earlier, the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P comes with both sweeping and mopping capabilities. It users AI and IoT technology like the LDS-powered laser navigation and an upgraded SLAM algorithm for real-time intelligent mapping and route planning. It has a scanning range of eight meters and a sampling rate of 2,016 times per second with accuracy deviation of less than or equal to two per cent.

What it means is that the multi-directional sensors (a total of 12) in Mi robot vacuum cleaner can scan the surrounding distance of 8 meters while cleaning process and avoid obstacles if it finds any. During the same time, it also constructs the entire room map on the Mi Home app.

As for India-specific customisation, the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P comes with a custom-designed cleaning path for the sweeping and mopping mode. What it does is to simulate the manual mopping effect along with dual direction repeated wiping. Thus this combination offers an intense deep clean of the stain on the floor. There is also a sweeping only mode for dry cleaning your room floors.

The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P has an electronically controlled water tank. It comes with three gears of water supply, intelligent water dispensing modes and water clogging prevention mechanism.

Under the hood, the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P comes with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor paired with dual-core Mali 400 GPU. It can produce a powerful 2100Pa suction with the Japanese brushless motor. For connectivity, it uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It comes with a 3,200mAh battery that can work up to 110 minutes on a single charge. Don’t worry if it runs out of battery as the robotic vacuum cleaner comes with an automatic recharge and resume feature. It can automatically get to its charging point, get charged and then resume cleaning from where it has left.
