Beefing up its presence in the television market, Xiaomi has launched two new Android TV models in India – the Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-Inch and Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-Inch. Both new TVs runs on Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface and Android TV, packing 700,000+ hours of content to make you stick in front of the TVs. They both offer high-quality sound output with DTS-HD 20W stereo speakers.
These TVs comes with built-in Chromecast support, thus you could cast media from your mobile or other Wi-Fi connected devices. Importantly you could save some cash from buying Google Chrome cast or Amazon FireTV stick like devices.
Talking first about the pricing, the bigger Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-Inch is priced at Rs 39,999, whereas the Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-Inch model gets a price tag of Rs 22,999. Both TVs will be available exclusively via Flipkart, Mi.com online store and Mi Home stores in cities near you. As always, you need fast fingers to grab one of this TVs, as the first sale will happen on January 15the, 12 noon IST.
Mi LED TV 4X Pro and Mi LED TV 4A Pro features
Both the Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-Inch and Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-Inch models to have a sleek look with thin bezels on all four sides. The Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-Inch model with its 138.8 cm screen sports 4K Ultra-HD resolution 10-bit panel. It also features HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) picture offering sharper detail with minimal noise. Under the hood, its powered by the trusted Amlogic 960X quad-core processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
The Mi LED TV 4A Pro, on the other hand, has a 108 cm or 43-inch full-HD 1080p (1920×1080 pixels) resolution display. It’s also powered by the same Amlogic 960X quad-core processor, however, coupled with 1GB of RAM. Both the TV models have a refresh rate of 60Hz and 178-degree of viewing angle.
Connectivity options of both Mi LED TV to include three HDMI ports (1 contain ARC), two USB ports (3 for 4A Pro), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, one Ethernet port, one AV port and one S/PDIF Out (4A Pro only). They both also feature a 2 x 10W or 20W stereo speakers with DTS-HD surround sound support.
PatchWall + Android TV
The Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-Inch and Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-Inch comes with PatchWall and Android TV combined. The PatchWall has more than 700,000 hours of content to watch. You could also download apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and others from the Google Play store to stream your favourite video contents. It also intelligently integrates both online and your DTH/set-top box contents making it easy to discover. Actually, the “One Remote, One Interface” model creates a unified STB and SmartTV experience.
Both TV models come with a Bluetooth remote that also offers Google Assistant voice command support. Thus you could just talk to the remote to discover content, play them, get answers and even control home devices.
