Seems, Xiaomi’s Mi Home store has become an instant hit in India. The first ever store located in Phoenix MarketCity, Bengaluru has seen sales crossing Rs 5 crores in just 12 hours on the launch day (20th May 2017).

According to Xiaomi, more than 10,000 Mi fans from 10 different Indian states came to attend store launch. The Mi fans were able to purchase a slew of Xiaomi products like Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Mi Phones, Mi Selfie Sticks, Mi VR Play, Mi Basic and Comfort headphones, Mi Air Purifier 2, Mi Band 2 and more.

The best part Xiaomi assures that in Mi Home stores no products will go out of stock. In case the inventory runs out, you will receive an f-code, using which you can place the order on Mi.com.

It was an extremely emotional day for all of us at the opening of our first Mi Home store. I am humbled by the unprecedented outpouring of love from all our Mi Fans who started lining up from 8 AM in the morning. I had a fun filled day with spending time with our fans, billing at the counters for our customers, entertaining people standing in queue and answering multiple queries at Mi Home,Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi. “Never did I imagine that with every passing hour we were quietly creating history in the Indian retail market,” he added.
