Crushing all the competition in the 25K price range smartphone market, Mi India has officially launched its flagship android smartphone Xiaomi Mi 5 in India. Currently, only the 32GB storage variant of Mi 5 is up for sale and it’s been priced at Rs 24,999.
Mi 5 will go on sale starting from 6th April 2016 exclusively on Mi official website and expected to available on other Indian e-commerce stores after a few weeks.
Coming to the hardware specification, the Mi 5 32GB launching in India is a sort of standard edition that comes with Snapdragon 820 processor that has a CPU clock speed of 1.8Ghz coupled with 3GB RAM. Whereas the Mi 5 Pro edition is made out of ceramic packing higher clock speed of 2.15 GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The mobile boasts a 5.15 inch full HD display covered in a 3D ceramic body, a 16-megapixel camera with 4 axis image stabilization and a 3000mAh battery to power the device.
