Xiaomi India Launches Redmi 4A 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM Variant

Let’s recap some specs of this phone. It is a comfortable 5-inch device having premium metal-like polycarbonate matte texture. Sporting an IPS display, the device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU and Adreno 308 GPU. It also houses a decent 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. Redmi 4A also supports high-speed 4G VoLTE networks that work with every telco’s 4G bands in India. Xiaomi has also recently announced MIUI 9 update for Redmi 4A that makes it more worthy in this price range. The hybrid SIM slot allows you to use either two SIM’s or one SIM with micro SD card.

Xiaomi’s pattern of launch with these budget phones is really interesting. Now customers have 2 choices viz Redmi 4A 3GB 32GB or the Redmi 4 2GB 16GB for Rs 6,999. However, the Redmi 4 is still a better choice over the Redmi 4a when comparing feature wise. Meanwhile, the Redmi 4 4GB 64GB variant is now available via an open sale at Amazon India, but buyers should consider the Redmi Note 4 if your budget allows above 10K. We haven’t yet seen the Rose Gold variant of Redmi 4A. Currently, only two colour choices are provided for the 32GB variant, dark grey and Gold. Hope you enjoyed the article, Peace!
