WhatsApp adds Video Calling feature, available on Android, iOS & Windows Phone

To make a video call on WhatsApp, go to the chat conversation page or click on a contact’s avatar which pops up the option with a call button. Tapping the call button will now offer you two options – voice call and video call. Just click on the video call option to start a video chat with that friend. The overall video chat UI is simple and easy to use. When video calling, you will see the full screen view of the other person along with buttons to end the call, mute and switching between front and back camera.

WhatsApp video calling feature is way similar to the recently launched Google’s Duo app. The app also offers one-to-one video chat with an interesting ‘Knock Knock‘ feature.
