Now never miss your favourite TV shows, as you can watch them an hour later. India’s leading DTH service provider Tata Sky has launched an innovative service called ‘+1’ channels that allow you to watch TV shows after one hour it been aired.
Basically, Tata Sky +1 services will air all shows on a TV channel one hour late. It’s a great feature for those who lack the recording facility or got to watch two TV shows airing on two different channels at the same time. So using this service, you can just watch the first TV show on one channel and then watch the other show in the other TV channel, which was aired one hour before.
Currently, Tata Sky is offering +1 service for three Hindi entertainment channels – Sony (Sony HD +1 on #129), Colors (Colors HD on #138) and Zee (Zee HD #142). Do note that all TV shows in this channels are shown one hour late.
As for the price, the +1 services can be viewed upon subscribing to the respective High Definition a-la-carte at applicable rates. Or you may need to pay a charge of Rs 175 per month where the corresponding SD channel is subscribed to as a part of the base pack or add on pack or standalone a-la-carte subscription. For users subscribed to the Ultra Plus HD and Ultra Plus South HD packs can enjoy the +1 services for free as part of their subscription.
Tata Sky is planning to bring more regional and international channels to the service in the near future.
