Vu has brought its Vu Cinema Smart TV series to the affordable range in India with the launch of two new variants – 32-inch HD option and 43-inch full HD model. These TVs come with A+ grade high bright panels, Dolby Audio, bezel-less design and best of all runs on Android TV.
Vu has earlier launched the Cinema Smart TV series in India with three ultra-HD models. They were a little pricey, but now the company is bringing the same features to an affordable size, resolution and price point.
The 32-inch HD Vu Cinema Smart Android TV (32UA) is priced at Rs 12,999. While the 43-inch full HD Vu Cinema Smart Android TV (43UA) would retail at Rs 21,999. Both these smart TVs are already listed exclusively on Flipkart. The first sale for these Smart TVs will happen on 23rd June 2020.
Vu Cinema Smart Android TV – 32-inch and 43-inch Models
Both the Vu Cinema Smart Android TVs comes with A+ grade IPS high bright panel. The calibrated black and white balance offers just the right colour tones and brightness across all the edges of the screen. It comes with Advanced Picture Quality selection, which includes Adaptive Luma Control, Digital MPEG Noise Reduction, PC and Game Mode and Cricket Mode.
The 32-inch Vu Cinema Smart Android TV is an HD ready screen boasting a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. While the 43-inch Vu Cinema Smart Android TV is a full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both these screens have a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Coming to audio, both Vu Cinema Smart Android TVs comes with a 40W soundbar with four speakers and Dolby Audio support. Out of the four speakers, you get two amplified speakers that handle the low to the mid-range frequency or the vocal and bass. Then you have the two tweeter speakers that control the higher frequencies or treble. These front-firing speaker system with Dolby processing audio offers impressive audio experience while watching movies and playing games.
Under the hood, these Vu Cinema Smart Android TVs are powered by 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with a dual-core GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. These TVs runs on Android Pie 9.0, which also features built-in data compression and Upscaler technology. As the TVs run on Android OS, you could download millions of apps directly from Google Play store. The company has pre-installed a slew of Indian OTT apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube and more.
Both these Vu Cinema Smart Android TVs comes with built-in Chromecast support. It allows you to cast any photos or videos from your mobile, laptop or PC directly to your big screen. The TVs also ships with Apple AirPlay which allows you to cast media from your Apple devices to the big screen.
There is also the Vu ActiVoice Remote with dedicated buttons for Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar and Google Play. It also has a Google Assistant button which you could press to activate the voice assistant.
When talking about connectivity and ports, both TVs comes with Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b, g, n, 2.4 GHz along with Bluetooth connectivity. As for ports, you get HDMI ports, USB port, Ethernet (RJ45) port and ARC and Optical audio out.
