Built on the efficient 2100 MHz band and state-of-the-art network, India’s second largest telecom operator Vodafone India has launched its SuperNet 4G LTE service in Maharashtra telecom circle. The 4G service has been first rolled out in Nagpur city and will be made available in several more cities across the state by March 2017.
Vodafone SuperNet 4G service in Maharashtra is built on a strong fibre backhaul, modern network and also supported by its superfast 3G services. This also position Vodafone to offer all three network services like 4G, 3G and 2G on its own convergent radio technology.
Vodafone 4G launch in Maharashtra follows the successful rollout of 4G services in eleven other telecom circles. This includes Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Assam & North East circles. The operator plans to roll out its 4G services in rest of its telecom circles like Goa, Punjab, UP West, Chennai and Tamil Nadu by early next year. By March 2017 the operator expects to cover over 2400 towns across its 17 telecom circles.
