The imminent launch of Reliance Jio seems to push the existing telecom operators to go for a data war. After the data tariff cut from Airtel and Idea Cellular, India’s second largest telecom operator Vodafone India has followed the same path by offering up to 67 percent more 4G, 3G and 2G data on their existing mobile internet packs.

Vodafone prepaid customers can now get more data benefits on their existing 4G, 3G, and 2G mobile internet packs. The new data tariff is available for pan-India Vodafone prepaid customers.

Vodafone India now offers more than double 3G, 4G data for prepaid users

Vodafone has mostly added the extra data benefits to bigger data packs aiming at heavy mobile internet users. Popular 4G/3G data pack priced at Rs 449 now offers 3 GB of data benefits instead of the earlier 2 GB data benefit. Similarly, the Rs 650 4G/3G mobile internet pack now comes with 5 GB data benefit, that’s up to 67 percent more data. If you are still looking for a data heavy package then the Rs 999 4G/3G mobile internet pack now offers 10 GB of data benefits, an increase of 54 percent.

If you are still looking for a more data-heavy package then the Rs 999 4G/3G mobile internet pack now offers 10 GB of data benefit, an increase of 54 percent.

Vodafone also added more data benefits to small 2G sachet mobile internet packs. The Rs 39 2G sachet data pack now comes with 225 MB of data benefits instead of 160 MB and has a validity of 5 days. While the Rs 12 sachet data pack got an extra 20 MB data benefit to offer now 50MB of data benefit with one-day validity.
