India’s second largest telecom operator Vodafone India launches Campus Survival Kit for students in Delhi-NCR telecom circle. Under this, you will get unlimited voice calls and 1GB per day 4G data benefits for a period of 84 days. In addition, you will also get special discounts from Ola and Zomato, and other freebies.
Vodafone Campus Survival Kit will initially cost Rs 445 and available only for a new connection. Under this scheme, you will get unlimited voice calls to any network in India. For data benefits, you will get 1GB of 3G or 4G data per day. The whole plan will come with a validity of 84 days. In addition to above benefits, you will get a discount booklet from Ola, Zomato and various other brands. You will also get a messenger bag free as part of the plan.
“For every college going student, one element that tops the list of priorities is balancing their expenses with limited allowance allocated. For collegians, the mobile phone is the one most critical companion, keeping them constantly connected with friends on Social media,” said Vodafone in a press statement. “The Campus Survival Kit is an initiative to equip them with the great telco and non-telco deals and innovative value creating hacks to help them sail through their college life without compromising” according to the statement.
After the first 84 days, you can recharge for Rs 352 to continue availing all the above benefits. This includes unlimited voice calls and 1GB per 4G data per day. That too will come with a validity of 84 days. Currently, the Campus Survival Kit is available to Delhi-NCR telecom circle. The company is planning to roll out the scheme across all telecom circles in a phased manner.

Note that currently, Vodafone is offering a similar plan for Rs 349 with a validity of 28 days. Here the unlimited voice call comes with fair usage policy (FUP) limit. You will get 1200 minutes per 7 days and 300 minutes per day of local and STD voice calls to any network. Also, the data benefits are limited to 1GB per day.
