Six months after the launch of popular Coolpad Note 3 smartphone, Coolpad has now upgraded the hardware to equip with full HD display, better processor, and a bigger battery to launch Coolpad Note 3 Plus.

Coolpad Note 3 Plus is priced at Rs 8,999, whereas the original Coolpad Note 3 got a price cut of Rs 500 and now available for Rs 8,499. The new smartphone is available exclusively on Amazon India and sales begin on 13th May 2016.

So what has been upgraded? Going through the hardware specification Coolpad Note 3 Plus now flaunts a bigger 5.5 inch full HD IPS display. Under the hood, the mobile is now powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and carries 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded further with a microSD card.

On the photography side, Coolpad Note 3 Plus got a 13-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash support and for selfie enthusiasts, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Coming to the connectivity options, the dual SIM Coolpad Note 3 Plus got full support for Indian 4G LTE networks under LTE bands TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz along with 3G and 2G network support. The smartphone also got WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and comes with a bigger 3000mAh battery.

Coolpad Note 3 Plus runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Cool UI 6.0 skin over it. For extra security, the smartphones come with fingerprint scanner placed below the rear camera.
