Tata Docomo is the first private operator to provide 3G services at India and India’s third operator to launch 3G services after BSNL and MTNL.

Tata Docomo announced the launch of Worry Free Unlimited Plans to its both prepaid and postpaid customers in all its 9 3G circles namely Karnataka, Kerala, Rest of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya-Pradesh-Chhattisgarh and UP (West). The plans are said to be unlimited but it comes with fair usage policy and user cap.

The consumption of data on high-end devices such as Tablets is high, while voice usage is negligible. Keeping this in mind, some customers are concerned about exceeding data limits and incurring high spends. It is keeping this factor in mind that the Company is offering Worry- Free Unlimited Plans—for those customers who want to enjoy 3G connectivity at blazing-fast speeds without worrying about high bills.

After free data usage the customer is allowed to use the internet with less speeds while as 3.2mbps and 7.6mbps customers will be benefited with 128 kbps and 21.1 mbps customer is enabled to use the internet at 256kbps absolutely for free.
