For those who probably miss the newspapers, the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan‘ (Clean India Mission) was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 2nd October 2014 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 145th birth anniversary.
The mission is to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Clean India and pay tribute to the father of our nation when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary in 2019.
