Sansui Horizon 2 launched with IR Blaster, 2GB RAM, 4G VoLTE

If you new to the smartphone world or have a low budget for your smartphone dream, then the latest android mobile from Japanese mobile vendor will interest you. Sansui has launched Horizon 2 android smartphone in India. The budget mobile packs IR blaster, quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and most importantly 4G VoLTE support.

As it’s a true budget smartphone the Sansui Horizon 2 got a price tag of Rs 4,999. If you are interested in buying the mobile, then it’s available exclusively through Flipkart starting 15th May 2017. For colour choice, you get to choose from Black Grey and Gold colour variants.

Design and Performance

The Sansui Horizon 2 got a sleek look and feel, thanks to its polycarbonate body. The mobile flaunts a 5-inch HD 720×1280 display with MiraVision feature. The Miravision offers visual enhancements to images and videos you see on the device while preserving battery power.

Under the hood, the Sansui Horizon 2 is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737V/W processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. For storing all your photos, videos and other media content, you get a 16GB onboard storage. The mobile comes with a hybrid card slot, which allows you to either have two SIMs or a single SIM and a microSD card to expand the storage up to 64GB.

Camera and Connectivity

As for photography the Sansui Horizon 2 comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera. It features dual-tone LED flash, Night Vision recording and fixed focus. On the front, you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera with face beauty feature.

Connectivity-wise, the Sansui Horizon 2 packs 4G LTE support that works with every Indian telco 4G network. In addition, you also get VoLTE support for making HD voice calls and video calls. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. To fuel the whole device, you get a 2450mAh battery. The mobile runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top.

Making the mobile more suitable for the Indian audience, Sansui Horizon 2 comes with a panic button. The functionality that government mandated for all new mobiles launched in India. It also comes with full version of a Gameloft game. The mobile also comes with IR blaster using which you can control your TV, AC and other appliances.
