Along with the Galaxy J7 Pro in the ‘Make in India’ J series smartphone, Samsung has launched Galaxy J7 Max android smartphone. As the name suggest the mobile packs a big 5.7-inch display along with MediaTek SoC, 13-megapixel front and back camera, and 4G with VoLTE support. As for pricing, the mobile gets a price tag of Rs 17,900 and available at offline stores across India.

One of the main highlights of Galaxy J7 Max is the Samsung Pay mini that comes bundled with it. Samsung Pay mini is a stripped down version of the payment solution Samsung Pay. Here instead of the usual NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) payment technology, the Samsung Pay mini uses mobile wallets. It essentially integrates Paytm Wallet and UPI payment solution.

Specification and Features

Other than the Samsung Pay mini, the Galaxy J7 Max features a metal unibody. On the front, the mobile flaunts a big 5.7-inch TFT full HD display. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 1.6GHz MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. You get 32GB of internal storage with the phone to store all your media files. With an addition of microSD card, you can further expand the storage up to 256GB.

Samsung launches Galaxy J7 Max with Samsung Pay mini, 4G VoLTE

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max packs the same camera from Galaxy J7 Pro. The 13-megapixel back and front camera featuring LED flash support on both. Around the camera, you have the smart glow mode that changes colour based on the notification your receive. For connectivity, the mobile support 4G LTE network that works with every Indian 4G band. It also supports VoLTE for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software side, the phone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with Samsung own custom skin over the top. Finally, the phone carries a 3,300mAh battery on the back to fuel the device.
