The successor for the previous generation Galaxy On Nxt is here. Samsung has launched the 2017 edition Galaxy On Nxt in India. On a quick glance the mobile features octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, big 5.5-inch display, expandable storage and 4G LTE connectivity.

Samsung has given the Galaxy On Nxt (2017) a price tag of Rs 16,900. The mobile will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting 26th April 2017. For colour choice, you get to choose from Gold or Black.

Design and Performance

The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 2017 edition features a metal unibody design. On the front, mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD PLS TFT LCD 1080 x 1920 display that’s covered by 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 2017 is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and ARM Mali T830 MP1 GPU. To store all your media content the mobile carries 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB using microSD card.

Photography and Connectivity

Coming to photography, the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt (2017) comes with a 13-megapixel CMOS autofocus camera at back. It features f/1.9 aperture and LED flash support. In front, for selfie lovers, we got an 8-megapixel camera with the same f/1.9 aperture. The cameras are sharp and can capture photos brighter and clearer even in low light.

For connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt (2017) supports 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and Bluetooth v4.1. The best part, the mobile can hold dual SIM and a microSD card. The phone runs on a bit old Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS with TouchWiz UI over the top. For extra security, you get a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button. With ‘S Secure’ you can lock or hide apps, securely store your personal data and secures your browsing when connected to a public Wi-Fi.

Samsung will be packing a couple of apps onto the Galaxy On Nxt 2017 edition. This includes Airtel Wynk Music, Omlet for gaming and Viu for movies. Finally, the mobile is fueled by a 3300 mAh battery that can last up to 15 hours on 4G LTE internet usage.
