Quietly, Samsung has brought one of its affordable dual camera range of android smartphones in India. The mobile vendor has officially launched Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo (SM-J720FZDGINS) in India. The biggest feature the mobile boasts is its dual rear camera. In addition, you also get Super AMOLED display up in the front, 4GB of RAM and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy J7 Duo in a mid-range position with a price tag of Rs 16,990. The mobile will be available to purchase from Samsung online store and via offline Samsung retail outlets across India.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Specification and Features

Quickly, running down on the details, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo sports a premium design with smooth curves and sharp lines. The phone is available in Black and Gold colour variants. In the front, the mobile boasts a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. However, it lacks the 18:9 FullScreen display, which every other rival mobile vendor have.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is powered by an Exynos 7 series 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The mobile comes with 32GB of internal storage, which you can expand up to 256GB using microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Samsung’s Experience UI skin over the top. On the software side, Samsung has packed the phone with Samsung Mall and Samsung Pay mini.

Now coming to the main attraction, the dual rear camera. Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo boasts a rear camera pair of 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel with both having an F1.9 aperture. It comes with all the usual dual camera tricks like bokeh effect, background blur effect and better low-light photography. For selfie addicts, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash support. The front camera has also been featured with face unlock.

For connectivity, Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo support 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telecom operators 4G band. You also get 4G VoLTE support with the phone, allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth 5. There is also a fingerprint scanner, embedded in the front home button. Fuelling the device is a 3000mAh battery that’s even removable.
