It’s didn’t last long, the Indian telecom watchdog Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has asked Reliance Jio to withdraw the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise offer. In addition, the regulator has also asked the operator to withdraw the 15-day extension given to join Jio Prime membership.
As per the direction, Jio will withdraw the 3 months benefits of Jio Summer Surprise over the next few days. You still can subscribe to any Jio Prime plans and continue using the services.
However, Jio subscribers who have already subscribed or recharged for the Jio Summer Surprise offer by recharging for Rs 303 or high plan (along with the Jio prime membership) will remain eligible for the offer. You will still get the 3 months complimentary service valid until 15th July 2017.
