Consolidating its content offerings, Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has launched a new digital product called JioNews. Available as both a mobile app and web-based service, JioNews serve as a one-stop solution for your daily news curation. It packs Breaking News, local and international news, Live TV streaming, News Videos, Magazines, Newspapers and much more.

As we said earlier, Jio is consolidating some of its other digital products including JioXpressNews, JioMags and JioNewsPaper to JioNews. Existing users of these apps will be migrated to JioNews and they could seamlessly continue consuming content via this news app.

Reliance Jio launches JioNews digital news service

JioNews curate news content in more than 12 Indian regional languages. It touted to offer breaking news every second. It sources news content from more than 150 Live News TV channels, over 800 magazines, 250-plus newspapers, popular blogs and news websites from India and across the world. You could personalize the content based on your interest areas like politics, sports, entertainment, business, technology, lifestyle, fashion, career, health, astrology, financial and many more. It also integrates artificial-intelligence and ML technology to scan thousands of news sources and brings only the most relevant of the content you seek for.

In addition to the text and image based news content, you could also enjoy 150-plus Indian Live news TV channels in JioNews. The service also packs video-based news content under various popular categories like Bollywood, fashion, health, automotive, technology, sports and more.

JioNews is available as a mobile app on both the Google Play store and Apple App Store. It’s also available as a web-based service under jionews.com. For Jio users, the JioNews service is free and you could get premium access to all the features. Non-Jio users could also access JioNews and enjoy premium features for a limited trial period of 90-days. At the end of this trial period, you would need to subscribe to their monthly or yearly plans to further use the service. Or get a new Jio connection for getting free premium access to JioNews and other Jio suite of apps.
