Still not convinced enough to take a Jio connection, fearing how’s the network coverage in your area? Well, now the Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has come up with its own unique service – Smart Coverage map to show Jio’s 4G network coverage across India.
Jio’s network coverage map is way similar to rival telecom operator Airtel’s Open Network initiative. Which show the entire Airtel’s mobile network information to its customers.
Reliance Jio Smart Coverage map offers you a quick way to check Jio 4G network coverage in your area. It offers Jio’s signal strength, quality of network and user verified layers for extra authenticity. You can input your pin code, city name, location or use GPS on your mobile to accurately find the availability of Jio’s mobile network in your area.
You can sort Jio’s network coverage map by Outdoor On-Air – that’s fully operational network tower in an area and Indoor coverage – that’s small cells providing dedicated coverage only inside a building. You can also check Jio WiFi Hotspot coverage in an area and all outdoor planned tower location where Jio mobile network being installed or integrated.
You can also send feedback on Jio’s network coverage is your area through the portal. This will be then used to calculate the overall quality of Jio 4G coverage in your area.
Reliance Jio Coverage map features
- Check Jio’s 4G network coverage, signal strength in an area.
- Check both Outdoor and Indoor network coverage
- Check Jio WiFi Hotspot coverage.
- Jio network results from verified users.
- Can submit feedback about Jio network in an area.
So how Reliance Jio Smart Coverage work? the service combines both measured coverage samples from its users and predicted coverage, which offers real user experienced coverage. It utilizes actual user measured network coverage sample in an area. So the result in Jio network map for an area is more accurate.
The Reliance Jio Smart Coverage is still in beta stage and available only to register Jio customers on both mobile and desktop websites.
It seems Jio has limited the map availability to the general public, but we got a workaround. Do check the Reliance Jio 4G network coverage via TRAI MySpeed Portal.
