Reliance communications (RCOM) launched a new unlimited plan called the ‘Joy of Holi‘ offer for new customers. The offer grants its new users with unlimited data and voice calling benefits across 4G, 3G and 2G network.
Announcing the iconic ‘Joy of Holi’ offer, Mr Gurdeep Singh, Co-CEO, Reliance Communications, and Chief Executive Officer of RCOM’s Consumer Business, said: “At RCOM, we have been overwhelmed by the response that our Unlimited Plan received last year—a validation of our efforts to constantly enhance customer experience and delight. We now take a new leap with additional benefits being offered to our 4G customers, with the ‘Joy of Holi’ offer’.
The Joy of Holi offer will provide RCOM’s new 4G customers with 1GB of data at just Rs 49 and 3GB of data at Rs 149. In addition, they will also get free unlimited on-net local and STD calls with a validity of 28 days. The plan variants for its 3G and 2G customers include unlimited 3G data for Rs 99 and unlimited 2G data for Rs 49.
“Additionally, we still see immense potential in the 3G and 2G markets, which boast of 750 million Smartphones and data-ready feature phones. We have, therefore, customized special offerings in this space as well, with segmented and value-creating propositions.” he added.
RCOM also came up with new plans for 3G and 2G customers of select telecom circles. New 3G users from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir gets unlimited 3G data for Rs 99 with a validity of 28 days. The plan also comes bundled with Rs 20 talk time where the voice call will be charged 25 paise per minute.
New 2G customers from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (E), Uttar Pradesh (W), Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Chennai can recharge for Rs 49 to get unlimited 2G data bundled with talk time of Rs 20 talk time (charged 25 paise per minute). This plan to is valid for a period of 28 days.
