Xiaomi spin-off smartphone brand Poco is all in the news again, thanks to the newly launched Poco X2 android smartphone. It’s the second smartphone from the brand (now independent from Xiaomi), first being the Poco F1, which was sort of success thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 845 under the hood.
Coming back to the Poco X2, it seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G. Leaving that behind, the Poco X2 is targeted towards gaming enthusiasts, with its RealityFlow 120Hz display and the newest Snapdragon 730G SoC. In addition, the smartphone is packed with cameras, which includes the dual selfie camera and the quad rear camera units. It also carries a high-capacity battery which comes with 27W fast charging support.
With the above features in-board, the Poco X2 price starts at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The mid-range variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost Rs 16,999. Whereas, the top-spec variant of the smartphone would cost Rs 19,999, which packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For colour options, you have Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red. Poco X2 Specifications and Features
Let’s get into the detailed specifications to Poco X2 smartphone. As you may have read earlier, the Poco X2 is rebranded version of Redmi K30 4G. The design and aesthetics remain the same. It flaunts a 6.67-inch 20:9 FHD+ incell RD LCD display (2400 by 1800 pixels) which has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display embeds the ‘Intelligent Dynamic Refresh Rate’ technology which according to the company, claims to dynamically adjust the refresh rate to provide enhanced results. It also supports HDR 10 content like from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Under the hood, the Poco X2 is powered by 2xGold 2.2GHz + 6xSilver 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor coupled with Adreno 618. This unit is paired with either 8GB+256GB, 6GB+128GB or 6GB+64GB RAM and UFS 2.1 storage options. With so much power underneath, you defiantly would play lots of game. To avoid overheating and to offer smooth performance each time, the phone comes with proprietary LiquidCool technology.

Other than being gaming-focused smartphone Poco X2 is also for camera enthusiasts. You get the quad rear cameras that house 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with F1.89, AF and PDAF support. Paired with the unit is the 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor packing F2.2 and 120-degrees field of view, a 2MP macro camera sensor with F2.4 and a 2MP depth sensor with F2.4. With the army of cameras, the phones camera app also try to make it up. You get the usual portrait mode with background blurring, low light enhancement, AI Beautify mode and more AI enhancements. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other features include 3.5mm audio port, Hi-Res Sound and P2i Splash-proof coating. The phone runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 modified for Poco.
Finally, the Poco X2 packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging (27W Fast Charger included). As per the company you could charge your phone from 0 to 100 per cent charge in 68 minutes.
