Trying to capitalise on the most happening price bracket of Rs 5K in the Indian smartphone market, Japanese mobile vendor Panasonic has launched one of its most affordable android smartphones the Panasonic P95 in India. This time around, the company has opted for the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and comes with boasts of features.

First, going through the price, Panasonic P95 will retail in India at a very affordable price tag of Rs 3999. It’s a special price and available only during the Flipkart Big Shopping Day Sale, which is happening between 13th May to 16th May 2018. The original price of the phone would be Rs 4,999.

Panasonic P95 specifications

With a sleek and curvy design, Panasonic P95 offers a solid grip on your hands. The mobile flaunts a 5-inch HD display with a 720 by 1280 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8909 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. For storage, the phone carries 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. However, the phone runs on outdated Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top.

Panasonic P95 launched in India

Coming to photography, the Panasonic P95 sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash support. It also packs features like zero shutter lag, multi-modes, auto-scene detection and red-eye reduction. For selfie addicts, there is a 5-megapixel camera up in the front. The front camera also doubles as the smart Face Unlock.

Panasonic P95 comes in dual SIM (non-hybrid) option with full support for 4G with VoLTE, 3G and 2G networks. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Finally powering the whole device is a 2300 mAh battery.
