The pre-booking of the mobile starts today and will be valid until 31st March 2017, whereas the flash sale will start from 1st April 2017.
Dual Selfie camera
Before going through the design and hardware part, we must look into the most touted feature of the smartphone. The OPPO F3 Plus comes with dual front-facing selfie camera. One 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture to capture candid shots. Whereas the second 8-megapixel sensor allows you to capture 120-degree wide-angle selfies. It uses a 6P lens module which adjusts the path of light to minimise image distortion and maximise clarity. The Beautify 4.0 mode helps you to capture more stunning selfies by reducing blemish.
On the back, the OPPO F3 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel camera. It features Sony IMX398 sensor and much larger f/1.7 aperture along with Dual PDAF focusing. This combination offers faster focus, noise reduction and better low-light performance.
Design and Performance
The OPPO F3 Plus have a metal unibody construction with rounded edges and a texture like pebbles surface that offer better grip on hand. The mobile flaunts a big 6-inch IPS TFT full HD 1080x1920p display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the OPPO F3 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 MSM8976 Octa-core processor, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. To store all your selfies and other media content the mobile packs 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
As for connectivity, the OPPO F3 Plus supports high-speed 4G LTE networks that work with every telco’s 4G bands in India. In addition, it also supports VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1. The ultra-fine six-string antenna line design on the mobile improves Wi-Fi performance. The mobile can operate in six Wi-Fi frequencies and comes with built-in Wi-Fi amplifier which dynamically chooses between 4G and Wi-Fi signals.
The OPPO F3 Plus runs on a bit old Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 skin over the top. For extra security, the mobile has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button. To fuel the whole device a 4000 mAh battery is included with OPPO’s VOCC flash charging. It’s the same fast charging technology used by OnePlus in their Dash charge technology.
