After seeing the BIG hype being dying out, OnePlus now making its recently launched invite only OnePlus X android smartphone for permanent open sales or it’s now available to everyone without the need for an invite in India (starting midnight, February 5, 2016 at Amazon India). The announcement came directly from Carl made on OnePlus’s official blog, where he said “We’re extremely excited to be making the OnePlus X invite-free more quickly, this time, around. With every device we release, we grow more mature and more adept at handling the demands and expectations of our community. We largely owe our success to your unrelenting support, so we hope that this development will make the process of purchasing your very own OnePlus X as smooth and effortless as it can possibly be.”

Coming back to OnePlus X, the mid-range android smartphone packs Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, full HD display, 13-megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity support and runs on Android Lollipop.

In addition to the open sales on Oneplus X, OnePlus has also brought the trimmed down version of OnePlus 2 – the OnePlus 2 16GB edition that comes with internal storage capacity of 16GB (without an option to expand the memory) along with reduced 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM. Rest of the specification remain the same as of OnePlus 2 and it’s available exclusively on Amazon India for Rs 22,999 without invites.
