Nokia 6 is heading towards India and will be available for purchase starting Q2 2017. As for the pricing, the mobile got a global retail price tag of EUR 229 or approximately Rs 16,100. There is also a limited edition Nokia 6 Arte Black variant which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will have a price tag of EUR 299 or approximately Rs 21,000.

That moment you were waiting for, an android smartphone from the mobile legend itself. HMD Global the mobile vendor who has the exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights in mobile phones has launched the first Nokia smartphone powered by Android – Nokia 6. Well, technically it’s not the first Nokia android smartphone, as we have the entire failed Nokia X family produced and marketed by Microsoft Mobile.

Wait, there is little to get excited about, the Nokia 6 will be China exclusive and available for purchase starting early 2017. The mobile comes with a price tag of 1699 CNY or around Rs 16,500, which seems to put it in the mid-range segment.

Currently, only a few details of Nokia 6 smartphone has emerged, thanks to the official video from the company. The mobile keeps the hallmark Nokia design and built quality with a premium aluminium unibody design. The mobile flaunts hybrid in-cell 5.5-inch full HD display wrapped under the 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. To store all your media contents the mobile packs 64GB of inbuilt storage.

Coming to the photography side, Nokia 6 packs a 16-megapixel phase detection autofocus rear camera. It features f/2.0 aperture lenses, LED flash support and exclusive camera UI with automatic scene detection. On the front for selfie addicts, the mobile carries an 8-megapixel shooter. For audiophiles, the mobile comes with Dolby Atmos support. With dual amplifiers built-in the mobile delivers a 6dB louder sound, higher voice, deeper bass and unmatched clarity.

As for connectivity, the Nokia 6 will support 4G LTE with VoLTE. Other connectivity options include 3G, 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth. For added security, the mobile comes with fingerprint sensor placed right under the front home button. For extra smooth performance, the mobile runs on the latest version of Android Nougat out of the box.
