Nokia unveils the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone the, Nokia Lumia 920 at Nokia World 2012 event in New York. Nokia calling it the first smartphones in the world to use a new advanced multi-touch experience based on the Synaptics ClearPad capacitive touchscreen sensing technology.
Going in deep on Nokia Lumia 920, it’s powered by a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It packs 1000 MB of internal memory and 32GB on board mass memory along with free 7GB Microsoft SkyDrive cloud storage. It features an impressive 4.5 inch smartphone display based on exclusive technology called Nokia PureMotion HD+. With better than HD resolution, overdrive technology for keeping moving images pixel-perfect and sunlight enhancements for easy viewing even in the brightest sunlight. PureMotion displays are super-sensitive with any touch interaction, enabled by the ClearPad Series 3 technology.
Another major feature that’s packed with Lumia 920 is the 8.7 megapixels PureView camera with Optical Image Stabilization and a Carl Zeiss lens that captures blur-free videos even if the camera’s shaking or in low light. That means pictures and videos taken using Lumia 920 are detailed, blur-free and bright, no matter what light conditions user shooting in. Nokia claims that no other camera phone even comes close to their PureView cameras. It also equipped with a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera, for making video calling.
