You asked for it! HMD Global the mobile vendor behind Nokia branded mobiles has launched the 3G variant of the revamped classic Nokia 3310 – the all new Nokia 3310 3G. Keeping the cute and classic design of original Nokia 3310, the feature phone is now 3G enabled. Now, one thing we desperately need is a 4G enabled Nokia 3310.

Thanks to 3G connectivity, the Nokia 3310 3G can now support more networks around the world. The revamped Nokia 3310 announced back in February 2017, was more or less useless as most of the telecom operators around the world already moved out of 2G. HMD Global has priced the phone at €69 or approximately around Rs 5,350, a pricey 3G feature phone to buy.

Our fans around the world have been asking for this iconic phone to support 3G. Fans asked, we listened, and today welcome the Nokia 3310 3G.” Commented Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.

So what’s changed?

The new Nokia 3310 3G as the name suggests comes with full 3G network connectivity. Thanks to the much speedier network support the feature phone can now run a handful of apps. Other than the classic Snake game, the phone now supports Facebook and Twitter, which probably will be a lite version of the apps.

Design and build quality of Nokia 3310 3G remain almost the same with a toughened plastic body covering the front and back. The colourful candy bar get’s four fresh colours – Azure, Yellow, Warm Red, and Charcoal.
