MTS India the telecom brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) rolls out 3GPLUS telecom network across nine telecom circles in India. 3GPLUS network is basically based on state-of-the-art Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Rev. B Phase II technology that can offer download speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps. In addition to make full use of its 3GPLUS network, MTS India has also unveiled MBlaze Ultra the next generation Hi-Tech dongle providing data speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps.
The 3GPLUS network provides significantly enhanced data experience to its customers, that can shoot up to 9.8 Mbps, it’s because MTS reserves a lion’s share of its network capacity exclusively for data. MTS 3GPLUS network provides coverage across all its nine telecom circles which it recently secured new unified telecom licence – Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh (West) and West Bengal.
MTS India was the first telecom operator in the world to have launched the Rev. B Phase II version of the EV-DO network in Jaipur, Rajasthan in September, 2011. Globally, EV-DO networks run in some of the most data hungry countries in the world including the US, Japan and Korea. Compared to Rev.B Phase I, the EV-DO Rev. B Phase II technology further enhances BTS cell capacity, spectrum efficiency and peak rate, thereby achieving high-speed rate as high as 4.9 Mbps in single frequency carrier and 9.8 Mbps in two frequency carrier bundle.
MTS India also introduced MBlaze Ultra and MBlaze Ultra WiFi dongle to make full use of its 3GPLUS network. MBlaze Ultra dongle is priced at just Rs 1299 for both prepaid and postpaid customers. As a bundled offer for new prepaid customers they can get the MBlaze Ultra dongle for Rs 1399 along with 10 GB data usage with 30 day validity. For existing postpaid MBlaze customers they can get an MBlaze Ultra dongle by paying just Rs 750 with complete cash back.
In addition prepaid and postpaid customers can choose a range of tariff plans offering unlimited data usage. Lowest plan starts at Rs 798 for prepaid customer or Rs 700 for Postpaid customer which offer 5GB unlimited data usage with a validity of 30 days. For data savvy customers paying Rs 1498 (prepaid customer) or Rs 1399 (Postpaid customer) gets 20GB unlimited data usage with a validity of 30 days.
In addition customers will also get access to exclusive multimedia content including, MTS TV – which offers 100+ Live TV channels, Games on Demand – which offers more than 350 games across different genres including Action, Racing, Strategy, Education etc, MTS iDivine – that offers live ‘Darshan’ of more than 500 shrines across India and MTS Entertainment – that offers latest Bollywood songs, videos and a lot more for download.
